Description

The FIRE 260 OS White and Yellow 645cm² TECNIFIBRE adult tennis racquet was designed to deliver power and comfort thanks to a unique technology: X-DAMP.

In the FIRE range, it offers the best blend of lightness and forgiveness, suited to young competitive players and doubles players.

A muscular frame design and an open 16x19 string pattern generate maximum power. Its 260 g weight makes it very light for maximum maneuverability. And an oversize 645cm² head provides forgiveness on off-center shots or extra power. A very easy-to-play racquet for having fun on court.

To deliver power, all racquets are built with a stiff frame; the goal is for the frame not to move at impact, for maximum energy return. But frame stiffness generates more vibrations, which can be harmful to the arm. Tecnifibre's unique solution: X-Damp, the technology developed with the TecniLab, to solve the vibration problem and deliver maximum comfort.

How does it work? A steel insert is placed in an elastomer pocket in the handle and moves in the opposite direction at every ball impact. The result: 36% fewer harmful vibrations to the arm and less fatigue.

An extra tip from Tecnifibre: the lighter the racquet, the more vibration it generates. Light racquets are usually played by players whose bodies are still developing. X-DAMP technology is therefore the effective solution for hitting hard while protecting your arm.

Compared to the previous range, the new FIRE 260 OS adult tennis racquet steps up in performance!

First, the frame sections have been redesigned to be more square-shaped and 5% thinner, for more stability and better control of power.

Next, the weight distribution has been modified to match the trends of modern tennis. Weight has been moved from the ends toward the center of the frame to reduce swingweight and make it easier to accelerate the racquet head.

Maximum power and maneuverability make it the perfect racquet for the demands of the modern tennis player!

To push performance even further, the handle shape has been refined. The goal is to feel the bevels better and make grip changes easier.

All in all, the FIRE 260 OS White and Yellow 645cm² TECNIFIBRE adult tennis racquet is the ideal product for modern tennis: powerful, with unique comfort technology, and ultra-maneuverable.

How do I choose my racquet grip size?

Choosing the right grip size is essential for preventing injuries and improving control.

It’s better to choose a grip that’s too small, since you can always add an overgrip (+0.5 to +1 size) to adjust the size.

The most accurate way to choose a grip size is to measure the distance from the tip of your ring finger to the center of your palm. The measurement you get corresponds to the appropriate grip size, which is defined by its diameter.

The conversion chart is available in our Size Guide, located to the right of the grip size selector on the racket’s product page.

How to choose the right tennis racquet weight?

Weight is an important factor in optimizing performance and comfort on the court.

Here are the criteria to consider:
- Skill level: Beginner or Intermediate/Advanced
- Physical condition
- Playing style

Choose a lightweight racket (less than 280g) if you’re looking for a maneuverable racket that allows for a fast, volley-oriented game. They’re also a good option for players with arm injuries.

Choose a heavier racket (over 300g) if you have a muscular build and are looking for power for a baseline game.

You can also opt for intermediate weights (290–300g) for a versatile game.
