CARBOFLEX 125 X-TOP V2

The CARBOFLEX 125 X-TOP V2 125g TECNIFIBRE squash racquet was designed to unlock every player's swing speed. It is suited to advanced competitive players and regular players.

This racquet is the icon of the Carboflex range, the very essence of every performance criterion. Optimal maneuverability thanks to its 125 g weight, for easy racquet head acceleration and maximum power. A 500cm² head, the perfect balance between power and stability. It also comes strung with Dynamix VP polyurethane multifilament, Tecnifibre's most responsive string. The CARBOFLEX 125 X-TOP V2 125g TECNIFIBRE squash racquet is perfectly suited to advanced competitive players and regular players looking for maneuverability and power with control.

The CARBOFLEX X-TOP V2 range pushes the limits of innovation with patented X-TOP technology. We removed the bumper guard (the protection on the racquet head) for an entirely new head construction built 100% for performance. The bumper guard has been replaced by a combination of active fibers for maximum durability, speed and playability. The bumper, usually made of plastic, is replaced by a blend of aramid fibers, the most impact-resistant material, and a PTFE treatment that adds glide to protect the frame from floor and wall abrasion. Without a bumper, the racquet becomes much smoother and cuts through the air better for maximum swing speed and power. With plastic replaced by structural material, there are more fibers in the racquet for more responsiveness, less vibration and more comfort.

The racquet's lines were shaped by the "Airshaft" section for better aerodynamics and easier acceleration. The monoshaft construction is reinforced on both sides by "X-Arms" tendons to limit racquet flex and bring stability and precision at impact. To increase spin and forgiveness on off-center shots, the CARBOFLEX 125 X-TOP V2 125g TECNIFIBRE squash racquet features "Extended String Holes" technology: 12 grommets at specific points of the frame (3, 9 and 12 o'clock) have been enlarged to let the strings breathe and boost their elasticity.

The CARBOFLEX X-TOP V2 range is played on the Tour by squash legends Mohamed El Shorbagy, Nour El Sherbini, Nouran Gohar and many others at the top of the world rankings. These legends endorse our products and actively contribute to their development and technical evolution.

TECNIFIBRE's mission is to unlock every player's potential by offering products that combine high performance with unique elegance, all developed in the TECNILAB lab following one logic: Identify, Quantify, Solve.

In squash, players are always trying to improve their speed of execution, because the ball comes fast and more than half of all shots (58%) are played in the corners with little space.

So how do you improve performance in such tight spaces?

The answer: swing speed!

That is what the TECNIFIBRE TecniLab has been working on. With the constraints of time and space, players must be able to generate power through the acceleration of their racquets.

We tested hundreds of players in this fundamental situation. And it turns out there are differences in acceleration between top players and club players: the better the player, the faster the swing.

Based on this data, we developed the new CARBOFLEX X-TOP V2 squash racquet range to increase racquet acceleration for every category of player.
