Description

BLACK CODE string will give you spin and comfort.

Available in colors: Black/Lime/Fire.

Composed of 100% Co-polyester with a pentagonal structure.

Recommended tension: 22-25 kg Maximum tension: 32 kg

The copolyester material used will generate control and resistance.

The pentagonal structure offers the ability to generate a lot of spin, allowing for extremely aggressive trajectories: deep, looping shots or short cross-court shots. A very effective arsenal on the court.

The technology for manufacturing monofilament is based on 3 essential points:

  • The quality of the materials offered depends on the desired benefits.
  • The Thermocore process. Specially developed by Tecnifibre for manufacturing polyester monofilaments to soften their natural stiffness. This requires a series of heating and cooling stages throughout the stringing process. This exclusive process reduces the polyester's stiffness, making it more comfortable to play with and less likely to cause injury.
  • The final structure of the string can be round, pentagonal, or even square in order to increase the effects through friction.

A leading brand in strings, Tecnifibre is the supplier of polyester monofilaments to top players worldwide, including Daniil Medvedev and Iga Swiatek. Designed, developed, and produced in France, Tecnifibre monofilament is renowned and appreciated for its trajectory control, spin potential, and flexibility, thanks to its exclusive Thermocore manufacturing process.

Our rope factory, established 175 years ago in Wervicq-Sud (Northern France), has integrated a high-end production unit for monofilaments. Since 2008, it has specialized in the production of Co-polyester monofilaments, renowned as the premium version of polyester because they incorporate several types of polyester into a single string.

The Tecnifibre brand's mission is to unlock the potential of every player by offering products that combine high performance and unique elegance, all developed through the TECNILAB laboratory using the logic: Identify, Quantify, Solve.

What's the difference between a monofilament and multifilament string?
Monofilament strings provide more control. Because they are more durable, they are chosen by players who frequently break their strings.

Multifilament strings, which are more elastic, provide more power. Their flexibility is also known for its ability to absorb shock and thus prevent muscle soreness.
How do I choose the right gauge for my string?
A thinner gauge makes the string more responsive, and the shot feels crisper.
A thicker gauge provides greater strength and, therefore, greater durability for your strings.
If you break your strings often, a thicker gauge is recommended.
